German Viola by Karl Höfner 1996
This well-preserved German viola was crafted in 1996 in the Bavarian town of Bubenreuth. As the original label indicates, it was crafted in one of the well-known Karl Höfner workshops. This instrument bears fine details such as the fine purfling and the glossy spirit oil varnish. Its warm and clear sound is bright and strong, recommended for orchestral use.
